Bio-Pappel’s US subsidiary McKinley Paper now expects the Port Angeles, WA, mill to stop for 12 to 18 months for its conversion to lightweight recycled containerboard, a company official recently told a local newspaper.
The US unit of Mexico's leading containerboard producer Bio-Pappel completed the acquisition of the mill from Nippon Paper Industries USA (NPI) on Mar. 31, human resources mgr Cathy Price told The Peninsula Daily News.
