(PPI Latin America) -
Brazilian bleached eucalyptus kraft (BEK) pulp producer Cenibra announced that its interim CEO, Naohiro Doi, is permanent in the position from Feb. 1, 2017. He was named interim CEO in August 2016, replacing Paulo Eduardo Brant, who left the company to stand in the municipal elections of Belo Horizonte city, the capital of Minas Gerais state.
Doi worked for Cenibra between 1978-1985 as an advisor for the controlling board. He returned to Brazil in 2000 as controlling director, having an important role in the process of the total control acquisition of Cenibra by the Japanese group JBP from Brazilian Vale do Rio Doce. The executive was then named CFO and in 2012 he was promoted to vice-president, responsible for all industrial and forestry operations.
